I'm a searcher and a seeker, a new yorker from way book, a book learner who spent his youth trying to get it right, getting good grades, going to the "right" schools, enjoying my body by way of competitive sports. my journal is about integrating my life's passions, about living in a world that doesn't seem like home, where there is so much craziness, brutality, and sorrow. For a long time i lived in a bubble, thinking and feelig like i lived in a wonderful world of light and love. And then i had long and harrowing ordeal that led to triple bypass surgery. And i got to see who really cared about me, about how busy everybody is just trying to keep up. Everything i believed in is now on the sidewalk, and i'm not sure how much of it i want to pick up again.
Especially religion. God, so many people using his name to do bad things. I certainly didn't see him when i was in my struggle..i wonder if it's all a big fantasy...
